Title: Fault code on Golf bluemotion tdi.
Post by: AudiA8Quattro on 02 February 2020, 13:19
One of the guys that works for me has the code P2563 on his Golf.
Turbocharger Boost Control Position sensor circuit - implausible signal.

It’s an intermittent fault, but does seem worse when the car isn’t being used much.
Also the glow plug light flashes.

The car is a bluemotion 1.6 tdi, I think, 2010 plate.

Will this be down to clogged veins on the turbo? Or the actuator sticking? Or something else?
Thanks in advance..

first thing to check on these is that the actuator is holding vacuum. ideally use a mityvac or similar but good old lung power with a bit of vac hose works too. depending on the turbo thats fitted the actuator can usually be replaced separately
