Title: Help can't stop!!!
Post by: Mk2 Runout edition on 14 October 2005, 15:39
Brakes on my mk2 8v have suddenly become very dodgy. When gradually braking from various speeds the pedal sometimes pushes right to the floor and looses power as if it's loosing brake fluid from somewhere. I've checked all the bleed nipples and master cylinder etc but there's no leakage and the fluid level is on maximum.

Any ideas?

P.s the pads were replaced 6 mths ago along with new rear calipers.

If bleeding doesn't help then your master cylinder will need replacing.
