Looking at a set of coilovers for my Mk2 as a first step towards finally dropping in a bigger engine and getting the car to the track, Ive had a look around but i really want to get the best kit i can get for the amount i have to spend.
The coilovers need to be:
- Height adjustable all the way around
- Dampener adjustable, or have dampaners that are able to give a firm drive on the track and street
- Budget is £400 including tax and shipping
If anybody can point me in the right direction, knows of sombody selling a set second hand it would be appritiated, Or if anybody has coiovers and can give me some recomendations it would be appretiated.

you'll be hard pushed to get any coilovers of that spec for £400 unless they are second hand......
-
unless you find a bargin on ebay or something i think its just over the £400 budget mate for a new set, and thats not with adjustable damping... check what ever prices you find wether there inclusive of vat or not?? cant remember how much i paid for mine, think it was £370+vat from awesome for fixed damping with fully adjustable ride hieght front and rear, but that was for a mk4, so not sure on prices for mk2's
but check there site....

while were on coilovers. just remember to cover them in copper grease to protect them or the threads will rust. Saves you buying a new pair
im on supersport goldline coilies. quality build but very harsh on light weight cars. Cost about 370 and you can lower it to about 120mm
