Hi Guys, went out in the misses GTi last night and realised that her rear wiper isnt working properly, when you push it forward on the stork it wipes one way and stops, then sometimes stops half way on the screen, but when reversing works perfectly fine.... :undecided:

you're in a GTI.... who cares what's behind you?!!
…. and when it's the police you'll still see their blue lights anyway! :undecided:

If it's only when using the stalk it's playing up then could be the switch in there.

Maybe the “stork” needs his contacts cleaning with some electrical cleaner?
Rear wipers can be a bit hit and miss. I tend not to use mine much as the arc and resulting mess chucked over the rear bodywork plays up with my car OCD and the wiped area is opaque again within seconds most of the time.
I find using the door mirrors just as effective as the RVM and they don’t seem to get very dirty.

De-wiper - problem solved.
