Title: Possible gearbox issue???

Hi all

I am new to the golf world and have recently had a brand new gti performance on business lease.

The car is a DSG and I’m having a total nightmare with it. I simply cant seem to get it to change gear consistently and smoothly. The car seems to hold first and second gear for a hell of a long time on light throttle.

When I’m sport mode, the Dow changes are very harsh and juddery, and the up changes are completely inconsistent.

Ive come to the golf from an Audi A5 with auto box and never had any issues driving that so The more I’m driving the golf the more I’m thinking there is something wrong with the gearbox

Any help would be appreciated

Ask a local dealer to reset the box to see if that helps it will be under warranty
