Title: Revo Torque Mount vs 034 Dog bone mount
Post by: Rob_benton on 13 December 2019, 21:34
Hi

Has anyone got the Revo version of the mount ? I’m looking at this rather than the 034 as it’s the whole bush and it’s rubber so I presume there will be less vibration at idle ? Only issue is limited fitting locations and slightly more labour involved compared to the 034.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks

I have a 034 insert in mine which I got from another kind member on here. Easy job to install and NVH has died down to virtually nothing after being in several months. Does a great job of sharpening gear changes and removing slop caused by engine movement. I never really launch the car, but it seems to remove wheel hop too.
A colleague in work has the Revo mount and it seems to do all of the above, albeit after a more difficult fitting. I think either would be a good option, but the 034 version is both cheaper and easier to install.
