hi finding the pressure guide confusing I've a Gtd with 18 inch wheels on what is the correct pressure for 2 occupants
-
I use 36 front, 39 rear when 2 up or less.
-
36 all round on the factory Bridgestones but the pressures were amended for 7.5 my. I use 35 all round on the michelins at the minute as 36 felt awful for some reason.

The pressure advice changed with post WLTP cars... not for tyre wear reasons...

Tyre pressures though can be quite different depending on what you are trying to achieve...
ride comfort, grip, energy efficiency, tyre longevity... all of those things and thats before you consider different tyre OEM's and exactly which particular Golf you are talking about (GTI/GTD/R, particular year, whether its tuned or not...)
