Just happened to look at my front os a couple of weeks ago, and saw this
Popped round to KwikFit and they removed the screw and checked for leakage, none - foc.
The screw luckily embedded itself in the “meat” of the tread, not a groove.
Because it was not in the side wall of the tyre it would have been repairable.  If not, that would have been £160+ for a new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S - phew!
