Title: Near side wing mirror in place but cant see properly

So like the description says the left side wing mirror  is set all the way inwards to right but when I go to the drivers seat and look. It barley projects the side of the car I really have to lean to the left to see,
I tried pushing it further with my fingers but its all the way in.I have to fold the mirror to get it right but I dont want to fold as the setting easyly comes off with a minor tap
I tried replacing the mirror with another but its the same.
Are they like this from factory or is it something else any help would be much appreciated.

Could the two mirror units you've tried be for a territory with left-hand steering?. I remember a lad on another forum running into difficulties like this with mirrors he'd sourced from Europe on a u.k. r/h/s car.

Your 100% right both were left changed it out perfect
