If anyone is selling an early GTI with DSG, I would be grateful if you could let me know. Under 40k miles if possible.

If that is the 6 speed DSG, wasn't it problematic?

No problems with mine and it's on 60k.

I've never heard of the 6 speed DSG ever being a problem on the Golf Mk7...

Audi's had some problems, but I think even those were from a generation before the current A3/Golf Mk7.
