Hi Guys,
I'm Steve from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. I'm new to the forum, and this is my first post, so I do hope I have posted to the correct area..
I have a 2012 MK6 GTD , and am about to start getting quotes fornthe rear docs and pads to be replaced. (Standard ones).
I just wondered if anyone could give me an idea of what I am going to be quoted, just as a guide. As I haven't owned a car for over 10 years , because of having company cars etc.
Was thinking of going to a VW garage and then a local garage.

VW list rear pads only - but front pads and disks.
I’ve just ordered Brembo disks and pads for less than £100 from AUTODOC, but if you’ve never changed pads before, you’ll need a load of tools and supervision/guidance - but it’s all quite do-able.

I have just ordered stuff from autodoc. The price difference between them and ECP was mental. £45 per part cheaper for exactly the same stuff. And about £100 cheaper than VW for the same part without the VW part number stamped on it. 😂

Hi Steve
I paid I think near to around £70 for rear Brembo pads and discs mk7 GTI (full rear set) from euro car parts using a offer code when it came up and I paid 140 for fitting by a decent local garage
