Title: Mk7.5 Run Out
Post by: P6GTD on 17 October 2019, 13:53
Anyone got an opinion on when last orders will be taken and if there will be incentives in extra equipment or cash discounts as there were with the Mk7?
If, as some think, we are 12m off seeing the first performance Mk 8 on the road, how long will VW continue production of the performance 7.5s to avoid losing loyal customers to BMW et al?

It's not performance models that dictate when you can last order one. Once the first models are released then you won't be able factory order a 7.5 performance. What extras are left to put on a 7.5?

The run out model is already here... The my20 has all of the bells and whistles or the tcr which definitely has.

The only last chance saloon will be any dealers with unsold stock when they have a mk8 in the showroom. But stock levels are very low because they are all factory orders other than showroom items.

Leather interior? That was a run out Mk 5 bonus anyway.

Problem you might have is if the mk7 seats are used in other models then they probably won't chuck leather in for free. In fact I wouldn't expect anything else to be added in all honesty. I did get free leather seats on a run out Tiguan I had before my GTi so never say never 😀
