Title: Brake pad fitment spec please for MK7 GTI pp
Post by: DougUK on 01 October 2019, 18:23
Thanks in advance.

Need to replace front and rear pads and would get away with rear discs as are but minded to change at same time.  Local garage very decent and so all I need to do is visit euro car parts but I am less than convinced they are lining the car up with the right fitment and I've been burned on this problem before with a grumpy mechanic sending me back to the counter.

If I take the fitment from the correct EBC kit then I can match the fitment for rears with ECP but not so on the front.  Is it possible you can have different size pads and still fit calipers / discs??

Plan is to go Pagid on price v quality grounds but welcome any suggestions otherwise.  I like EBC but very pricey for a car I may well change in a year or so.

Someone previously told me on here that these fit the rears.

Fronts are 340mm I believe.
