Post by: djhectic on 13 October 2005, 15:45
on my 1997 mk3 8v gti when i operate the electric windown on idle my revs drop down , is this normal??also my fuel gauge only reads 3/4 on a full tank then when i'm down to 1/4 of a tank it reads near on empty.could it be the coil????or some other power problem, car runs ok(pinks a bit whem warm/hot)

noticed this with mine too - i wouldnt say anything serious though.
mind you if barely moving when switched off - might be problem with battery-might not be holding charge?
