anyone tried the ecocut wiper blade trimmer?
just had mine delivered today, seems like a good tool if it works.
blades should last 3 times longer it says...

I have, works as described. My advice is to take the blades off and clean them first with soapy water, then while they're still wet and slippery do a cut. You get a good clean trim like that...

thanks for the tips, did you have any bad cuts? does it ruin the wiper if you do??

Not personally but I can see how people would if the blades weren't clean and slightly lubricated as suggested above. You just need one good smooth run down each blade.

wot a handy little tool.. worked a treat, nice even clean cut all the way along, bit fiddly
to get started, but once i could get a grip of the wiper behind the tool it flew down the cut.
cheaper than replacing the wipers and get to cut twice on each wiper,so well worth the 12 quid
in my opinion. :smiley:
