Title: Performance Gauges - KW accuracy

Does anyone know how accurate the power gauge (kW) is on the performance gauge screen.
Is this a theoretical/calculated value based on throttle position and boost pressure etc or is there actually a sensor on the driveshaft/flywheel.
Had I look online but I can’t find the answer anywhere.

Theoretical. You'll never see a value higher than the book quoted output, despite VAG units being regarded as producing more than quoted. Everything between 0 and there is proportional to your inputs.
