Title: Active info display and polarised lenses
Post by: indigofever on 30 June 2019, 08:36
Does anyone here have any issues viewing the active info display when using polarised lenses?

Just looking to order some Oakley prizm polarised but can’t try them with the car before buying!

Cheers guys.

None with mine, but my glasses nothing fancy, just polarised. I do get the usual rainbow patches, but only slight and in the rear screen only.

No issues with any of the displays with either pair of polarised sunglasses that I have

I don't have the active display, but I do have the Nav Pro in my Golf R and the prizm polarized lenses in my Oakley Carbon Blade glasses don't affect viewing the display at all.  I would say the active display will not be much different to the Nav Pro screen.

Thanks all, turns out a mate and his missus have prizm and prizm polarised, so been able to have a look though them.

I can confirm that both are fine for AID and discover say navs.
