Title: Non standard air intake and MAF sensor.....

I've been recommended not to upgrade to a non standard air intake as the oil in the filter kills the MAF sensor? Has anyone had any experience of this and what intake are you running with?

I'm running the Revo  https://www.onlyrevo.com/product-details/air-filter-intake-kits/carbon-series-mqb-air-scoop (https://www.onlyrevo.com/product-details/air-filter-intake-kits/carbon-series-mqb-air-scoop) intake and ISS filter and had only one small hesitation problem, on full throttle in 3rd, with the MAF sensor. It was easily remedied by using a  cleaner. It may have been due to the intake or maybe the fact that the car has done 68000 miles. By the way I'm running REVO stage2 :smiley:
