Title: Sunroof sticks on last rewind
Post by: MrWolf on 06 June 2019, 15:07
I used the sunroof a few weeks ago & it was perfect. Just tried & it was heavy at the start & now when I try to close it, it won't do the last half circle wind, i.e. the handle is pointing to the back of the car.

I've tried opening & closing it a few times, but it never closes completely. One time the passenger side rear corner of the sunroof was about half an inch lower than the driver's side rear corner, but now they seem to be the same. The front of the sunroof is in place, but the rear is depressed.

Any ideas?

Fixed it, once the WD40 was found

Who knew you were supposed to grease the guide rails every 20,000 miles/2 years? Thanks, Haynes Manual!
