When i start the car is like not all cylinders are working, after 15-20 secs everything is ok. I dont have spark in all cylinders at the beginning, only one is firing, then a second and then its ok. Thouhgt it was the hall sender and i changed the distributor with a good used one but nothing happened. I also replaced the tci-h switch but in vain. i own a gti 16v the one with the PL motor.
All your help will be appreciated. Thank u all...

have you checked the plug leads are not in a puddle of oil in the head due to the rocker gasket ?
does it smoke while running badly blue'ish smoke ? if so most likely it's the valve stem seals

The plug wires are clean of oil, also they are new. when i pull the plug wires out and touch them on the block and crank i dont have any spark after 15 secs there is spark... thanks anyway...
