Has anyone done this/know whether it is possible on a Mk7.5. GTI MY19?

You can, but you will lose your GTI Steering wheel as it doesn't contain any of the heating elements required.

The only wheel that has the heating elements is 5G0419091AD that comes from SE+ trim cars. You will also need a new HVAC unit that has additional heated steering button etc 5G1907044D

Theres some other bits and bobs required like wiring from the wheel to the HVAC, and some coding. I looked at getting it on mine, but I didn’t want to lose the GTI wheel and it's also not cost effective IMO, worked out at about £1500 IIRC.
