Decent discount to be had on Michelin PS4S until end of April if anyone's interested

Thanks for the code but that seems to be for the R size tyres, GTIs are 225 width.
-
The discount code is valid for all sizes if you go to the site. The level of discount varies though.
-
If you only want tyres for 18 inch wheels then I thought this was a reasonable deal;-

They don't appear to list the correct size for 19's.

For the GTI:

Unless I got my maths wrong, Blackcircles for 4 are £599.76 as they are doing 10% off this week.
-
I think the discount is much better on the original link (for Golf R wheels) than it is for the GTI 19” wheels, so Blackcircles may be cheaper in this case.
-
Does the Michelin cashback work with Blackcircles alongside their 10% off (and Quidco/TCB) has anyone found?
The Michelin T&C’s state only listed dealers are eligable and my eyes are too knackered to trawl through the list!
(Week of night shift and bugger all sleep isn’t great for eye health  )

For 18s, Costco (for those who are members) also have a deal on Michelin PS4 (225/40 R18) where you get £40 off 2 tyres or £80 off 4.
It works out at £159 for 2 fitted including VAT, which sounds great but I've noticed they have a speed rating of W rather than Y.
I have heard good things about the fitting at Costco so I'm very tempted but should I avoid the W rating and go elsewhere?
Thanks
Andy

After almost 10 years in a combination of company cars and lease cars i've only had to arrange my own tyre fitting once in that time, and that was when I had my winters fitted for the first winter I had a lease car. So I've only the one recent-ish experience to draw on. I used a local indy through Mytyres and they did ok, other than the delay in them receiving the tyres so I had to chase them up a few times and eventually rearrange my booking. I've heard mostly good things about Costco fitting, but i'm not a member and they're not that local so I doubt i'd use them. I do believe though they have a policy of only fitting new tyres on the rear unless you buy more than 2. I'm not sure if that might annoy me or not!
Personally i'd go for the Y fitting if you can get them for similar money or less. In reality there probably won't be much in it for performance in normal situations, but I like to maintain factory recommendations for things such as this for both insurance and lease agreement reasons;- i.e. less chance of an argument if something unfortunate happens.
I'm not recommending ATS as a company, but they are offering PS4 18's for £105.49 each including fitting with £25 off if you buy 2. If you book a Monday fitting online then there's another 10% off. So that could work out at £167-ish for 2 of the Y speed tyres if you're willing to trust them. You might get a few % cashback as well via Topcashback or Quidco, but don't rely on it.

Thanks Guzzle, yes I think you're right and I hadn't even considered the insurance implications. I'll have a look at my local ATS and see what the reviews are like - it all comes down to the fitter really doesn't it.

Yes Andy, that's it. Any money saved might become a distant memory if the fitter makes a hash of your precious rims
