Title: golf 1.8 8v turbo conversion

Hi guys, had a few golf over my time but finally got my hands on the cabriolet.. now I know the 1.8 8v is not the best of them by far but I like them.. No comments on it not being worth time please. I'm gonna do this anyway. Just a fun project for me and my son. So I seen plenty of kits for sale but has anyone got recommendations on makes etc? Also what else will need doing when I take the power up that much?

Your best bet is probably to use a G60 block and head as all set up for forced induction and is still a 1.8 8v engine.

Management wise are you planning standalone? You could easily use the G60 setup for this too to keep costs down
