Title: DSG drain plug & Performance pack differential drain plug

Quick question - are they the same or at least the same thread?  I discovered there is a fill tool for the DSG which would be really handy for my upcoming diff self-service!

It looks the same thread as the drain/fill plug on the GTI diff.

Anyone ideas?  I guess if you have serviced a DSG performance pack GTI you'll know?

Just to update this thread, they are not the same size the DSG is much larger. 

The fill tool on amazon is still useful though as the large end screws onto the VW diff oil bottle and you can remove the other end so you had an easy way to do a fill anyway - just poke the tube into the hole from the top plug.
