Title: Drop in filter + Major Service?

Hi All,

I have a drop in filter in my mk7 gti and the car is booked in for a major service next week.

Do i need to take this out and replace it with the stock paper filter before vw do the service? are they going to complain about the drop in filter?

They probably won't complain, they'll just throw it in the bin and put a new paper filter in..

I always remove my pipercross filter before a service just in case.
