Looks like someone has made a cock up again... or they are trying to tell us something!

And is it just me or have the GTI colour options shrunk.... its just

Pure White
Tornado Red
Atlantic Blue Metallic
Deep Black pearl
Indium Grey Metallic
Isaac Blue Metallic
Tungsten Silver Metallic
Oryx White Mother-of-Pearl

No white silver?

They’ve both been off for quite a while. From memory it was 2nd week of January they went.

VW’s official line is WLTP, but some on the R forum with open orders are dubious about it.

I thought all vag wltp issues were done and dusted? Is there anyone here waiting for an R or gtd since before September still?

Apparently the R got signed off last week, but dealers still haven't had much news. It appeared back on the DE configurator last Friday, but as with most things the UK website/configurator is yet to get updated.

Oh and White Silver was discontinued just before Xmas, along with Turmeric Yellow on the R.

Eight months wait is insane. I waited 11 weeks for mine, and 3 of those were my fault.

I hope your dealer is treating you well and acknowledges your patience.

Expected end of March. Apparently the GTD is one of the last to be made WLTP compliment because it needs a new exhaust and tank for the ad blue. It’s taken so long that the colour I wanted is no longer available too. But due to it being a lease deal I don’t get anything back. Just have to wait or cancel and order elsewhere. Shame I do 40k a year otherwise I’d have cancelled and got the GTI.

It’s a company car lease, so not my own. But my MK7 is sat comfortably at 121k currently 😋
