Title: Gti Tracking
Post by: MrJollygood on 26 November 2018, 18:40
So after spending most of my day off sorting out new tyres for the Gti after the girlfriend decided to drive along a kerb and pick up two punctures late last night (see my other thread about winter tyres) it was apparent that the tracking / alignment needs doing.

The Kwiksh!tfit who supplied the tyres only had the data for a 2017 non-Gti Golf so I declined to have it done. Can anyone point me to the correct data for a 2013 Gti PP - my local tyre shop has a Hunter set-up so I'll take it there at the weekend.

Cheers,

Greig

If your local has Hunter equipment then they'll have the correct settings.

Yup, they have Hunter equipment

Just wondered if anyone had the correct settings so I can be 100% sure or if anyone had their own settings that they recommend.

Perhaps it doesn't make too much difference on the Golf, I don't know, but my old Elise was hyper sensitive to how it was set-up.

Thanks,

Greig

I doubt there's any different between 2013 and 2017, considering 2017 is a face lift? I'd be surprised if it affects tracking.
