Installed a sachs performance sintered clutch a few months back as the standard clutch was slipping after a stage 1 remap. Ive done about 700 miles since fitted, and the last couple weeks a noise has started when Im pulling off, and when I changed down a gear. It happens when Im on the bite point. The most common noise is high pitched like a whistle, but on the odd occasion when pulling off, theres a scraping noise and I feel some vibration in the clutch pedal.
Just wondering if anyone knows why its doing this, or if its part and parcel with a sintered clutch.
Cheers

I know nothing about sintered clutches, but any scraping noises should be checked out, before any damage is caused.

I'm sure I read on a few Facebook groups that these clutches do this and it's a common issue apparently.

Thanks for the replies so far. Im taking it in next saturday to check for any damage to make sure. Will update when checked

Definitely get it checked out - I've heard of a couple of instances where the bolts holding the pressure plate on have backed out, normally when people haven't used threadlock on them.
