Title: Golf Mark 7 Wheel arch liners.
Post by: clubsport on 14 November 2018, 18:59
I washed the GTi today and then had to deal with the wheel arch liners.

These arch liners seem to be velcro to dead leaves and debris.

I have owned a few cars over the years and have never seen anything but smooth arch liners where crud doesn't stick that easily.

Is there any reason for them to have a hessian velcro surface?

A design feature I can't really understand on the car.

Sound deadening, as the rear arches are prone to droning.
