Title: Not getting text messages in car

Used to get my texts on the screen in the car but this no longer happens. Iphone6 which hasn't changed although maybe an IOS setting has changed something.

What do I need to do.

I've noticed since upgrading to the newest iPhone iOS my car has stopped displaying text messages too, I can't find any way of re-enabling this though?

Shamelessly stolen from a JoeGTI post, the thing that worked for me was:

On the phone

Settings -> Bluetooth

Tap into the VW device (tap the "i" button).

Make sure "Show Notifications" is turned on.

Thanks. Kinda remembered Joe's post from the last Time I asked this question. Will give it a try later. Clearly an IOS update must have changed these settings.
