Title: 1.8T engine conversion in Mk2 GTi 8v
Post by: bretton on 10 October 2005, 19:28
May be this is a subject that has been done to death by now, but please humour me! I would be interested to know of anyone who has been successful and if it is a viable option? Perhaps you have a better idea?
Regards,
Bretton

its a good way to get big power for small(ish) money.. when compared to other big power engines (japs, cossies)

it has been done time and time again.. personally im a bit bored of it all now but i still cant fault the engine ! (after all i have one in my mk4)

Welcome to the forum. As said already, it's been done loads of times and you can't really fault it, a modern powerful engine in the classic that is a mk2 golf, perfect mix in my opinion.
