Prior to my GTI and having now seen what the detailers on here get up to, I'd have said removing the wheels to wax them and clean the calipers :whistle: Now though, nothing particularly crazy although my work colleagues do though think I've a screw loose by performing the aforementioned activities...

ha ha know what you mean. for some it's excessive, others simply see it as obsessive. My work colleagues haven't voiced any remarks however my neighbors watch me clean bits and parts (usually windshield, front bumper - damn bugs) virtually every morning b4 leaving home and then in the afternoon hence i always get comments like 'again?' :grin:

"There'll be no paint left on it" is the old boy next doors favourite. That or "It could do with a clean" the day after he knows I've washed it.

I did that before every car show in my astra VXR, used to take the bumpers off too to clean behind them, missus used to call me mad..
