Hi ppl was just wondering what the difference is between 90 spec gti 16v arches and the earlier ones without the big bumpers?? apart from the sideskirts??? do they stick out further? or anything??? Does anyone have any for sale???
-
i beleave the ealier ones dont have the bit that connects to the side skirts and have a dfferent thickness of the Stem of the side moldings. But i could be wrong. Its a very confusing subject, they seem to come in all different shapes and sizes, I ended up just going into GSF and telling them to order one of every possible shape, style and size then picking out the ones i thaught would work best.

90 spec 16v has the bigger front brakes
hazard switch on the coloumn like in ford's
and the wireing is different
that's about all I know

^^ i think he was asking about arches not the actual car

Doh :embarassed:
I must read before posting

they're no wider (afaik) but like fielder said they extend down further to meet the arches and had the smaller rubbing strips moulded on to them.
