What are the standard sizes of tyres for a mk3 16v ? (and does it differ from a normal gti or a vr6?)
i ask because my car still has the original alloys, but on the front its got 195 (not sure what the other part is) , and on the back 205 something
these sizes are 'normal' in that i was able to find the pressures for them here in the haynes book..
what 205/195 combination yields the same rolling width? (i mean the percentage part?)
what effect is having a difference on the front/back going to make?

Standard size for 8v, 16v and VR6 are 205/50/15. Although I think that before '96 the tyres were 195's on the same rims.
Cant help with the rest though sorry. ???
