Changed dashboard in my mk7 gti and now coming up with steering column module fault nothing working on steering wheel

Maybe he means the dashboard module (speedo in old English)
You used to get the steering angle warning light on when doing that, and to clear you just had to take it for a drive, dunno if it’s the same for the OP tho
