Title: Blank Screen
Post by: Gulfstream11 on 29 August 2018, 06:00
Morning all.

Had a phone call from my nephew. He's camping in Cornwall and his screen has gone blank. Hard reset done, no change.

64 reg GTD
composition media gen 1 with Garmin GVN 60.

Anybody any experience on this. I googled for him and saw one post saying to remove fuse and stick it back in, apart from a hard reset which he has done that's all I can find.

Thanks

Gulf

Loose wiring?

Other than that, I haven't seen much in the way of reported issues with these - other than poor TMC reception.

I have to hold the power button down for quite a long time on mine before there's an electrical crack from the speakers then it comes back on. Perhaps he needs to hold it down for longer?
