New to the forum btw
Chopped in an Audi S1 for a year old Gti a few weeks ago but have had a coming together with a post lying in the road as I came around a corner
I didn't have the time to avoid it but I slowed enough for it to only jam under the front bumper with not unexpected damage, I do intend to get a smart repair done on the paint seeing as you have to bend down to see it.
I can get the black undershield for a reasonable price part no 5G0805915AA9B9 but does anyone know if the bumper has to come off to replace it ?

You'll get an idea of how it's fitted when you get the new part. You'll be able to see all the fixings.

Aye but was just wondering in case it needs the bumper off to fit as it could be more hassle than it's worth tbh. I can prolly put up with the dinged undershield as long as the smart repair on the paint can be done ok.
Annoying though seeing as I've only had the car a matter of weeks
