Have fitted a genuine Oem VW emblem camera with loom for a MK7. And have a problem with the boot lock all the camera stuff works and video on head unit, but get a fault on boot handle.
If boot is shut and I plug the two pin connector for original loom into the new harness boot opens then that's in diag its showing fault as permanent short, thinking new loom is wrong anyone have the pinout on the 4 pin connector?
I can hear the micro switch in the camera click as handle is lifted but tried to buzz out the 4 pins to find switch but no luck, so stuck atm as to wrong wiring in 4 pin plug or new camera module at fault
