Title: Tyre Pressure for 19" Wheels on GTI PP DSG
Post by: OldShaw on 17 August 2018, 13:56
Apologies if this topic has already been discussed - but, I am unable to find the answer.
So, on a Mk7.5 Golf GTI PP + DSG with Brescia 19" alloys and Pirelli P-Zero 225/35R 19Y tyres all around (as fitted by the factory) - what is the correct tyre pressure to use?

The small sticker on the inside of the front driver door pillar suggests that for normal low load running they should be 41 PSI (2.8 bar). Does anyone have any different information?

Would anyone care to share what pressures they are using for regular day-to-day driving?

I just go by what's on the actual tyres.

I use 41. I'm not going to argue with the factory.

I have exactly same model and wheels/tyres,I know I don't know better, but I was running on 41 but found it a bit too hard. I've been running 36 front and 38 back, and found it runs smoother and better grip.
I like it, doesn't seem to affect tyre wear... but I'm not an expert.
