Has an awesome 200 mile run today up to St Andrews and the Scottish coastline, really impressed with the power delivery and DSG box. Love it.

I'll put pics up when they have been fitted, by the way the badgeskins were a bugger to put on with only one functioning arm.

White....3 Door....& those wheels are great.
Good choices..
How about getting the roof wrapped in Gloss Black ? That seems to suit White cars...

Funny that you say that, I've been looking at gloss Carbon.

They will either remove it or cut around it, but you wouldn't notice it at all, price wise that seems ok.

Mods that are happening.
Pedal Box
Akrapovic Carbon fiber tail tips.
Front splitter (if it fits)
Possible Mods
Roof wrap in carbon.
Changing Alloys to Fox MS007's
Brembo 6 pots.
Also thinking about the DTUK Tuning Box, but some of the stories I hear are not great, I'm also doubtful that it can achieve the quoted figures.
-
what about suspension ?
Ive just had an Eibach Pro Kit fitted to my 3 door and its massively improved how it looks..
20mm drop rear, 15mm drop front, so the stance has improved as well,

Not looking at suspension at the moment, maybe later on.

It's easy to loosen off the roof aerial. Just need to reach in the roof lining from the back.
-
cheers, I'll prob would rather take the antenna off myself, but I'm still not sure if Im gonna get it done or not, I'm still in two minds about whether to go for a Clubsport rear spoiler, in which case I wouldnt want the roof wrapped...
btw,,,when i was talking about suspension before, I meant to say 15mm drop at the rear and 20mm at the front...so it sits slightly down at the front....certainly makes a difference.
-
Put a photo up Jeff.

I’m pretty certain that the mk7 GTI Clubsport uses the same tailgate as the base model Golfs (no spoiler as part of the metal pressing above the hatch window) which is different to the one used on your GTI. Therefore, if you wanted to fit the Clubsport rear spoiler to your GTI, you’d have to change your tailgate too.
-
Yes that's true...you need a different tailgate..so that means waiting for a late 2nd hand one in the right colour to come along..then the spoiler itself is £1100...so it's a lot of hassle and expense....but it certainly does look good....oh and id have to swop the wiring and indicators too as I've got the dynamic ones.. .
