Hi guys. I've very recently upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S7 to a Galaxy S9 ( a great phone and better in everyway to the S7 - and that was great too). Everything works as it should however unlike my S7 (running Android 7 - Nougat), on the new S9 (running the new Android 8 Oreo), every time I connect the phone via USB, it's asking me on the phone if I want to "allow access to the phone data". This comes up when I connect the USB cable and stays on screen even after the phone is disconnected from the car (via USB), and appears about 80% of the time - but weirdly not all the time ?
My Galaxy S7 never had this requestor every time (I seem to recall there was some sort of setting that said to trust this computer - or something). It doesn't appear to be affecting operation of Android Auto at all, but was wondering if any one knew if there was a setting I could adjust to get rid of this annoying requester ?
Thanks.

Do you not get the tick box that says don't ask this again?

Have you got the latest version of Oreo, seem to remember lots of connection issues when it came out and they released 8.1 to sort that
