It's a cool gadget but the problem is the competition is also offering the same features: 10Hz precision gps with a live leaderboard of best times, even sorted by brand (best VW, Audi, BMW 0-60mph, 0-100kmh, 100-200km/h) at half the price, so it is kind of hard to justify the extra cash unless you absolutely need video overlay of the dials which is (I think) the only exclusive P600 feature.

Update: Competition also offers the video overlay, so basically just the same.

Dragy. Quite popular with the MK7 owners, especially in US but starts to grow in Europe as well lately.

PS. It seems Dragy also offers dials on video (wasn't aware as I don't own it myself). So essentially they are the same thing with different brands.

Yeah well, US prices are not very relevant due to expensive shipping and possible customs. I was thinking something like this:

https://www.mlperformance.co.uk/products/dragy-bmw-gps-based-performance-meter (https://www.mlperformance.co.uk/products/dragy-bmw-gps-based-performance-meter)  which is ~1700 sek.

Also BMS sells that directly at 200USD (with shipping) for Sweden, which is 1600 sek shipped. I have bought the Jb4 from them and it arrived quickly without any custom fees or anything.

In the Stertman's link you provided, (and which I assumed you used?) it sells for 2600sek which not exactly double the price but still 1000sek difference.

Anyway, I am not interested in promoting either of them! I have been using XGPS160 + RaceChrono (for a total cost of ~1200sek all-together) for more than 2 years now and I don't find any reason to change from that, it's a great combo, for both the track and the road. It lacks the "interactive" part of the leaderboard but that's more of a gimmick really considering how few people are using those platforms vs. the rest of the owners. You can't just rely on the leaderboards (of any platform) to get an accurate idea of where your times stand. Still need the forums for that!

I have used RaceChrono and Harrys Laptimer before on Trackdays , and think they are great!

But think this is a step forward! .
