Hi All,
I had a little bump yesterday, and my insurance company have told me this is their preferred repairer.

However their Google reviews are awful, probably best avoided.
Anyone used them?

Was the bump your fault and check they are Vw approved or they will void your paint warranty  but you can use Vw if they have a body shop nearby

Never used them, they're not local to me.
Does say on their website that they are VW approved though. Being VW approved is no guarantee that they'll do a good job, however you're more likely to get help and goodwill from VW in future years if you have evidence of any work being approved.

I’d avoid insurance approved repairers myself, I looked up vw approved when somebody hit and ran on my car and went with a company called fast lane paint and body, they seemed to have only good reviews, and approved by a lot of high end manufacturers (Tesla, merc)

It’s your right to dictate where your car is repaired, but you may lose a hire car funded by your insurer. If it was my car I would have it repaired by a VW dealer approved repairer.

Thanks all. Anyone know who VW West London’s preferred repairer is?

Fast lane p&b is in slough or ascot or around that area, they loaned me a A class while they fixed mine, I had to pay a admin fee for the car (about £75 I think it was) because my insurance didn’t supply a car with a hit and run

I went onto VW website found loads in my area that have around 4.8 star google reviews, costs more upfront on excess, but worth it for proper repair
