Title: 7.5 GTI making more noise
Post by: Jim_mk7.5 on 19 February 2018, 10:32
Not mine, but a YT guy who runs a few different cars just done a nice video of his 7.5 GTI with Remus exhaust, intake and spacers.

Not sure about that open type intake as been told this engine gets extremely warm so summer time in towns could be problem. Sounds well at the end, nice extra noises...

Heat soak will be massive in summer and I've never seen anyone prove that open air intakes increase power although the people selling them will tell you they will.

What a way to treat a lease car!

I don't think the power of "youtube influencers" will lead me to modifying my car in this way.

Agreed, lots of high increases that probably don't exist in the real world in normal driving conditions

This guy is a classic case of 'more money than sense'. Doesn't know anything about the car or why he is even doing these mods
