Title: New 18 plate

I ordered a MK 7.5 GTI back in early November 2018 and have just received an update that its arrived in the UK. I imagine it'll reach the dealer within the next week.

Is it worth picking the car up now with a 67 plate, or asking if the dealer can delay until the new 18 plate in 3 weeks time?

Is an 18 plate really worth the wait...?

I picked mine up yesterday and I haven't stop grinning.
It might be worth £300/400 more in a couple of years if it's a 18 plate but depends how long you're keeping it.
Enjoy now, it's worth it.

Be crazy to rush registration before IMO.

Post by: SRGTD on 03 February 2018, 22:25: If it was me and I was leasing, I’d have it as soon as it was available (on a 67 plate). If I was buying, as March is less than a month away, I’d wait for an 18 plate for the slightly better resale value when the time comes to sell.
