as I have a scorpion alarm here removed from a golf I broke
the only problem I have is I cannot figure which wires are for the siren
it had 3 wires going to a key switch on the slam panel ripped off prior to me buying the car there was no siren fitted so no clues there either
the wires going to the switch are red, orange and brown there is also a blue but that only comes from the switch I assume this is the siren feed but am not sure
the alarm box has these numbers on the back 1218T and gm1218sgb and was made jan 2000
any ideas people ?

alarms and immobilizers are an arse if you dont know what went where, there designed to have you stumped incase your a car thief!!, id try an insurance approved alarm installer, pop it round to em to show em what your on about and theyll more than likely be able to help, if not it normally means alot of trial and error tests or testing every thing with a decent multimeter to try and find out what each wire does when the alarm is armed/disarmed

I have sussed everything except for the siren
alarms and immobilisers even so called thatcham approved are not hard to sort out
I rekon since one of the 3 wires is permenant live that I have to figure the switch wireing out
