Hi guy's looking for help, got in the car this morning to a message saying switch on Bluetooth. I have tried switching the ignition on and off and tried going into the phone settings menu and selecting switch on Bluetooth but it just egg times constantly ....any ideas on how to get my phone connected again?
-
I lost my phone connection recently;
- checked the Bluetooth connection in ‘settings’ in the actual phone to make certain I hadn’t inadvertently switched off Bluetooth (I hadn’t).
- did a reset / reboot of the infotainment unit and phone connection was restored.
-
Thanks, I did check the phone Bluetooth but how would you reboot?
-
Press the on/off button on the infotainment unit and hold it down for 10 seconds.
-
Brill, I will try that thanks.
-
Also try rebooting the phone... I had it recently and the only answer was to reboot the damn phone...
-
Had the same thing recently.... re boot the phone rather than turn Bluetooth off then on and you should be fine.
If that fails try and connect another phone to see if it is your phone or the car playing up

Jumped back in after work expect to reboot but didn't need to as all was fine again....thanks guys.

To be fair I think that could be down to me, I thought of your problem this afternoon as I was having a Uri Geller moment.

Surely a "Uri Geller" moment would've been the cure for the bend lighting error on another thread? :whistle: :laugh:
