hello I'm new on here
right my golf 1.8gti aum
will misfire badly underload but if I drive normally its fine or if I go on a long drive it will be fine
I have changed all sorts
all 4 coils
plugs
inlet manifold gasket
both o2 sensors
re circ valve
air mass
fuel filter
deleted n249
deleted sai
replaced all the pcv pipes
checked with smoke tester no leaks what so ever
replaced the valve under inlet
have scanned can with vag com only code is fuel mixture too lean bank 1 sensor 1
also cleaned throttle body and have reset basic settings
what am I missing where shall I go next any help!!!!!!

Mine had these symptoms, yours may not be this but this is what I did to cure it; (Mine is a 1.8T AUM)
.Replaced Plugs & Coils
.Replaced Map Sensor (I also had intermittent boost issues which this solved)
.Replaced both Crank & Cam Sensors (This stopped my "Misfiring" as my crank sensor was wet & not functioning correctly)
.Changed Coolant temp sensor (Cured my non-starting issues as my plug was again drowned in water causing electrical issues)
Hope this helps, if not at least give you an idea where to look
