Title: Coming home and leaving lights not working on my gti mk6 59reg?

Hi all.
Coming home and leaving  lights not working on my gti mk6 59reg?
It's ticked on the dashboard and I've checked on vcds it's all ticked aswell?
Any suggestions plz

I take it the headlight switch is on Auto?

Also to activate the coming home lights, you need to flash the headlights after turning the ignition off. They will come on when you open the drivers door. You can code them to stay on automatically with VCDS which is a must do mod.

Yes the auto is on,I've gof vagcom and it's all got a tick on them.
They did work before  but not now.
Have you got any diagrams or which should be ticked?

Does this have to be coded from VCDS? I do have the function on my MFD and an Auto light switch as standard but I have non genuine Xenon's fitted, would this matter?

When I unlock the car in the evening time when its dark the strip sidelights will come on and the main beams will come on for a fraction of a second and then turn off, anyone have any ideas? Only bought the car last week so trying to work out the snags.

Probably the coding.
I think there is a couple of options. I set mine to use the foglights instead of the xenons years ago.
