thort it could be a c.v. joint but they seemed to be fine. the noise goes away when its raised to the old height.

90mm was canny low yeah, especially on 16"s but ideally i want the 120mm drop so what will i have to change?

suprisingly its ok, it was the almost the full was down at one point and could still turn full lock. had to roll front lip and camber wheels tho. id say its bout 100mm at the front at the min, tires nicely hidden up in the arches. il try get a few photos the mora.

im starting to think it could be a hub.............. :undecided:

what top mounts do you have? some polyurethane ones knock a bit if you dont put the hard bit of sponge on the top  or check the bushings in the wishbones these can make a knocking

ive been told its the c.v joint because its reall shaking the front end now turning right, would this have become apparent from lowering it more? its a heavy "thud thud thud" type noise as the wheel rotates.

also, recently changed the thermostat, with the right one, which does open as its been tested, but does'nt feckin do its job. i bled the system correctly, let the fan kick in then took it on a roadtest but when i returned the bottom hose ís freezin yet the top is too hot to hold and really pressurised, the fan wont work due to bottom of rad cold. air lock? my headgasket cant take much more abuse

Did you use the strut tool when tightening the bolt nt he top of the mounts - if you forget to tighten this properly it can cause that knocking sound.
